Where the project stands.
RebootLoop gives a person an informed route and secure-preparation guidance, then points them to established services where the category fits. We are a three-person Macquarie University student team. We placed fifth of 24 at Pitch for the Planet with an A1 poster and interactive proof-of-concept; this public version is the next test, not a running collection service.
Public self-service
Run the route, see an estimated impact range and clear next steps with official guidance. No device intake or booking.
Test with real people
Observe whether students choose the right route, understand the warning, find the destination and can explain the limits. Report actual counts and failures.
Small campus pilot
Only after campus permission, privacy review and an agreed handover process. Track completed outcomes separately from recommendations.

Potential buyer: a university or organisation seeking student engagement, safe guidance and evidence of completed reuse or recycling. We would test an institution-funded setup and annual licence for maintained local pathways and de-identified outcome reporting. We have no customers, revenue, unit economics or pricing evidence yet. A future pickup path would first need a verified provider, accepted-item rules, consent and a documented chain of custody. No pickup is bookable in this app.
What we would ask an industry representative: help us test the route with users, review our safety and privacy boundaries, and discuss whether a small approved campus pilot has a real owner and budget.
